Millions of people are doing something about their discolored and unsightly teeth by turning to their dental professionals for a teeth whitening program that really works. There are many on the market to choose from and they are all a little bit different in the way they are done and the results that they produce.
Of those millions of people, roughly 800,000 that have had teeth bleaching done to whiten their teeth will tell you that the BriteSmile system provides the best, safest and most dramatic results.
BriteSmile is effective and takes place right in your dental professional’s office or in a BriteSmile center at the convenience of the patient.
BriteSmile is a patented system that uses their own excusive formulation to achieve maximum results in the shortest amount of time.
BriteSmile is a gentle system that doesn’t use any heat or lasers to whiten teeth which can damage enamel and cause tooth sensitivity. Instead the BriteSmile teeth whitening system uses a low concentration of peroxide gel and their exclusive blue wave light technology to get teeth up to 14 shades whiter.
On a typical visit to the dentist or to a BriteSmile center, a patient would go through 3 cycles of the BriteSmile whitening process. While the patient relaxes and watches television or listens to music, the BriteSmile professional applies the 15% peroxide gel directly to the teeth of the patient. Then, the BriteSmile blue wave light is exposed directly to the teeth for a period of about 15 minutes. The blue wave light interacts with the specially formulated peroxide gel to get down deep into the stains that are on the teeth and breakup the discoloration.
Each 15 minute process is usually repeated 3 times over the length of about an hour.
Many people with other teeth whitening systems have experienced pain or sensitivity in their teeth following a procedure. This is usually due to the high concentration of peroxide gel or other chemicals used. Also, other teeth whitening systems have been show to negatively impact the enamel on the teeth.
According to clinical studies conducted by the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, the BriteSmile whitening system will not have a softening effect on the enamel of the teeth nor will it cause structural changes in the enamel.
